HD digital FPV transmission
159 degree ultra-wide FOV, 4K/60fps video, 10km O4 HD link, 23GB storage, and 20ms Racing mode.
Quick Answer
It keeps the same core transmission and recording performance, then swaps the stock 117.6 degree lens for a 159 degree ultra-wide FOV lens. At 13g including the camera, it is made for 2-inch and smaller micro FPV drones, with 4K/60fps recording, 23GB built-in storage, up to 10km FCC range, and Racing mode latency as low as 20ms.

Gyroscope notice
The DJI O4 Wide Air Unit ships with the I469D gyro as standard, which may cause RockSteady jitter on some frames. An MP66 swap resolves the issue with no functional impact, but MP66 chips are discontinued and stock is limited.
Camera housing
FLYWOO customizes 18mm and 20mm camera housings for the O4 Wide lens module, giving builders more frame options without changing the camera core. Choose the 18mm housing for 18mm or 19mm mounts, or the 20mm housing when the frame is designed around O3 / O4 Pro camera mounting.
Board protection
The stock O4 Wide camera module leaves the rear PCB and coaxial connection more exposed. FLYWOO's custom housing adds rear coverage and a coaxial cable fixing plate, helping keep the camera core and cable seated during installation, transport, and hard landings.
Imaging
The camera captures sharp 4K/60fps footage with an immersive 159° ultra-wide field of view. For micro and indoor builds, that means wider perspective and fewer blind spots without adding a separate action camera.
Racing
Racing mode lowers latency to as little as 20ms and supports up to 8 pilots in the same race. Live view is listed at 1080p/100fps.
OSD
Canvas Mode and Betaflight OSD support give pilots control over the flight data layout shown in the goggles, so battery, link, and flight information can stay readable.
DJI O4 WIDE Air Unit is the wide-angle version of the standard O4 Air Unit. Only the lens changes: the original 117.6 degree wide-angle lens is upgraded to a 159 degree ultra-wide FOV lens, while transmission performance, recording specs, body weight, built-in storage, and core specifications stay the same as the standard version.
At just 13g including the camera, it is built for 2-inch and smaller micro FPV drones. The 1/2-inch CMOS sensor records up to 4K/60fps, and the 159 degree ultra-wide field of view helps reduce blind spots in tight indoor spaces, gap flying, and close-range freestyle.
Powered by O4 digital transmission, it supports latency as low as 20ms and up to 10km range under FCC standards. H.265 encoding keeps 1080p/100fps live view crisp, while Racing mode supports up to 8 pilots at the same time. Canvas Mode, customizable OSD, 23GB built-in storage, and a 30 x 30 mm mounting footprint make it flexible for cinewhoops, micro freestyle builds, and creative FPV setups.
