Q1: Can the built-in ELRS be disabled?

A: Yes. When using TBS/XM+ receivers, modify the receiver UART via the ground station. Alternatively, physically disconnect the ELRS as shown in the wiring diagram to prevent interference with external devices.

Q2: Can the onboard ELRS firmware be updated?

A: Yes. This flight controller supports full receiver serial port and Wi-Fi flashing. Update the firmware via the ELRS ground station or by connecting to the receiver’s Wi-Fi.

Q3: Can the integrated VTX be turned off?

A: Yes. The VTX automatically stops when USB is connected to prevent overheating during configuration. It also features a dedicated electronic switch, factory-mapped to USER 2 for manual control, or customizable via CLI (e.g., C08 pin mapping).
